Inter-Regional (RITS)

The Rural Independent Transportation Service (RITS) provides curb-to-curb, non-emergency medical trips for the elderly (60+) & disabled. All vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

Times of Operation

Monday - Friday 7am earliest P/U to 4pm

Serves

Northwestern CT residents from the 18 member towns. Travel to anywhere in the state for medical appointments.

For example:

  • Newington VA
  • Hartford Hospital
  • Yale-New Haven Hospital
  • Greater Waterbury area
  • UCONN Medical
