Northwestern CT Transit District operates the Torrington / Canaan route:
- Monday through Friday
- Accommodates (3) shifts
- (3) times a day
- in the early morning
- mid-afternoon
- late evening
- From Torrington City Hall to Canaan / Lakeville
Technology Park (Route 183), Torrington.
- Monday through Friday
- From Woodland Hills to Technology Park (Route 183)
- Accommodates first shift
- Stops at Wal-Mart, Target and BJ's
There is also a service to Waterbury!
- Monday through Friday
- From 100 Commerical Boulevard, Torrington to the Waterbury Green

JobLinks is Northwest Connecticut's transportation network offering new and enhanced bus routes in Greater Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington.
The program enables people to get to jobs in areas that were not previously served by public transportation.
Transportation is provided to some of the top industrial and commercial areas in Waterbury, Danbury and Torrington and is scheduled around shift start and end times.

JobLinks transporation is available to the general public, including individuals transitioning off welfare and other elegible low-income individuals.
The rider pays $1.65 for most fares or $1.50 for customized neighborhood or evening service.
Individuals transistioning off welfare and other elegible low income individuals can receive their first month of transporation FREE. After the first month of employment, they pay the regular fare of $1.00 or $1.50 for customized neighborhood or evening service.
Passes are issued on the basis of a calendar month. During the first (15) days of the month, the rider will receive a pass for that month only.
Individuals issued a free pass after the 15th of the month will be issued a pass for that month, as well as the following month.
A client service request form is completed by a job developer, case manager or placement agency and submitted to the JobLinks Coordinator. Copies of the client service request form are available from the JobLinks Coordinator or can be found at www.joblinksct.com.

Transportation is available through the Guaranteed Ride Program, which provides eligible program participants with a free ride if they become ill or have a family emergency.
Guaranteed Rides are limited to (3) per calendar year. Each program participant will receive a written explanation of the emergency ride policy through his or her case manager.
