The Rural Transit Inter-Regional is a curb-to-curb service for people of all ages, in the (16) towns it serves. Anyone under (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

All vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

Northwestern CT residents to
out of area towns for medical
and other purposes.

For example:

  • Newington VA
  • Hartford Hospital
  • Yale-New Haven Hospital
  • Westfarms Mall
  • Greater Waterbury area

On a first-come, first-serve basis; with a 24-hour advance notice.

Disabled persons with Medicare or Special State Issued Card ride for half fare.
People (60) or older ride free on a suggested donation basis.
